Think you know your scents? Prove it!

Blind Penguin frothing hand soap is more than just silky-smooth, it’s a treat AND a test for your nose. Each scent has been carefully crafted by blind surfer and voice actor Pete Gustin to be aromatically stimulating , deliciously pleasing and recognizable. But the trick is… can you guess the scent?

How it Works

What You Get

Each order is three different 8 oz bottles — three hidden scents to work out. Every bottle gives you 450+ pumps, so you'll be frothing and guessing for months.

The soap is dye-free and nearly colorless, so the look never gives the scent away. Each pump has a removable cap — leave it on to seal the scent in, or take it off and let the fragrance drift into the room. And the screw-top bottle is yours to reuse long after the soap runs out.

Our Story

Pete sat down with nearly a thousand different scent bottles and, over the course of six months, carefully selected his favorites. Being blind, he wasn’t looking at labels.  He chose each scent purely based on what smelled best to him. Over time, he mixed and matched fragrances until they became something more familiar. Since scent is the sense most closely tied to memory, the moments and images each scent created were quite powerful. Once a blend felt just right, Pete locked it in, gave it a name everyone could recognize, and made it one of his signature scents. Blind Penguin Frothing Hand Soap currently features nine unique scents, and each bottle is handcrafted by Pete and his wife, Banana.
